GOP pay attention – Dems eating their own?
Waupun resident and FoxPolitics.net reader Rohn Bishop references a Journal Sentinel article appearing in last Thursday’s edition:
Former Milwaukee Mayor John O. Norquist said Obey did more for the City of Milwaukee than virtually any other congressman in the Wisconsin delegation.
"Dave Obey worked for people who couldn't afford a lobbyist: working class people," Norquist said.
Bishop is right on in grabbing on to the inference…
In Wednesday's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Former Milwaukee Mayor John Norquist was quoted as saying "Dave Obey was a better congressman for Milwaukee than any congressman we actually had." Really John? So that means Tom Barrett, Democrat nominee for Governor, wasn't much of a Congressman for Milwaukee? I'm not surprised, he hasn't been much more than a coat rack as the Mayor either, and a pretty useless candidate for Governor too!
