Re-elect Justice Prosser – with five bucks. Game on.

I count Dave Prosser as a kind man - and a very bright man. And as his campaign web site says, a “consistent conservative.”
    Dear Friend:
For twelve years I have had the privilege of serving the people of Wisconsin as a member of the Supreme Court. In the spring of 2011, you too will become a judge -- evaluating my work as I seek re-election to the state's highest court. I am asking for your support, and provide in this website extensive background information for your consideration.
Any and all conservatives in the state of Wisconsin must do everything we can to support this man. Read to the bottom to see exactly what’s needed. Five bucks. That’s it. Five bucks.

Today’s Wisconsin Supreme Court is seen by most to hold a 4-3 conservative edge. Suffice it to say that after the conservatives won the bitter and hard-fought Michael Gableman and Annette Ziegler races, the left is ready and aimed to take out Justice Prosser.

To wit, Tom Foley this week:
Marla Stephens for Wisconsin Supreme Court
Campaign website is here (but there's not much there right now).

By comparison a rival candidate, Joel Winnig, features a link at his website to a column calling Justice Michael Gableman "a low life."

It's unknown whether Winnig shares or endorses that opinion. Both Stephens and Winnig hope to unseat Justice David Prosser.

Note: Prosser and Stephens have clashed indirectly before.
Foley has had tons more to say about the conservative justice from the Fox Valley. Yup, be assured, Justice David Prosser is a bright shiny target for the left.

During the last session, the Democrat-controlled legislature passed campaign finance rules that apply only to races for the Supreme Court. As Prosser’s web site explains, the campaign funding tool “comes with strict fundraising and expenditure limitations and a challenging set of qualifications.”
To receive the DTF grant, we need to do two things by January 4th, 2011:
    • Secure contributions from at least 1000 separate contributors; and • Raise no less than $5,000 or more than $15,000.
Do you have $5, $10 or even $15 to help Justice Prosser wage a winning campaign?

David Prosser has been a commonsense judicial conservative widely respected for his independence and scholarship. He needs the help of every citizen who wants a steady, responsible Supreme Court that will not engage in judicial activism.

Please contribute today in the small amount of $5, $10 or $15 to help Justice Prosser's campaign comply with the new law.

To meet the guidelines set by the DTF please donate only once.
    Here’s the process:
Pleeeze do it now (January 4 is the deadline). Game on.
